Finance Intern
Position Summary: The Finance Department is seeking interns on a full-time or part-time basis to support fundraising efforts. Specifically, interested applicants must commit to spending at least 10 hours per week on campaign related work and have the capability to staff up to three evening events per month.
The role of the Finance Intern encompasses researching new donors, event planning and logistics, data entry and calling prospective donors. The applicant must be outgoing, organized, tech savvy, self-motivated, and prepared to work at a high capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand political experience, and develop the essential skills for campaign fundraising.
Salary/Pay Rate: Non-Paid Internship
Required Skills and Abilities: Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel. · Mature, professional manner on the phone and in person. · Interest in progressive politics. · Positive attitude, flexibility and reliability.
Education: Some college
